It seems as if since people on the internet are nameless, faceless and anonymous in every other way that they have a license to lie, and it's even expected. When people are told blatant lies, instead of being outraged they complacently accept it as a confirmation of what they were already expecting anyway, so it's no big deal.
I'm not that way. I'm old-fashioned and resisted using these new-fangled contraptions, computers, until about 5-6 years ago. I thought paper and pen and trips to the library were good enough for me, but I finally succumbed, and I admit I love the computer.
Yet I'm still not hardened to the net way of life. I admit that I don't believe a word of any of these income opportunities that I see, just because of so many lies I'm constantly exposed to, yet I haven't yet felt the need to lie myself. What's the point of lying? Nobody believes it anyway.
