You would expect people to want to pay a fortune to have their very own
Squidoo lens, but the beauty of this is that there is absolutely no costs
involved whatsoever and you can have as many Lenses as you wish to
create.

For those who don't know about Squidoo...
The site allows anyone to make a special webpage that focuses on
any subject or program that you wish or are involved with. You don't
even need much experience to create a really powerful "lens" on
Squidoo.

A Squidoo lens is a webpage that focuses on a particular topic. For
example you could make a lens about a hobby, sports team, your

placement in search engines for many keywords. Awesome!
Go to Squidoo.com and set up a free lens on your favorite subject.
The set up is easy and there is plenty of help on how to do it if you
get stuck.
When you make your lenses, add as many keywords (tags) as you
can that are related to your topic to bring in more traffic.
Treat it like blog and update it regularly and you'll begin to see lots of
traffic to your sites, not just your Squidoo pages.

Hey, thanks for the reminder about Squidoo. I know it work's but got caught up on other things online.
It is good to know that I am not alone here in my passion and
understanding of what Squidoo can actual achieve for a business or
website.
It would be a good idea perhaps to start listing actual lens URL's here so
that we can visit and help others by comments and scoring the submitted
lenses.
Not only that, but I always like to visit other peoples lenses...
One thing I have learned about Squidoo is that it tends to have like a
snowball effect once you start leaving remarks etc on other peoples
lenses. A snowball that can in fact roll down the side of a mountain and
become an avalanche by the time it reaches the bottom.
One simple action here can lead to a massive influx...
For instance, I could leave a comment/remark on someone's lens who I
know nothing about, but just thought I would leave a nice remark
expressing how impressed I was with their work. Two weeks later
someone else goes to that very lens and does the same thing, not only
that, but they see my remark there and visit my lens from the automatic
link that the system places.
They then visit my lens and leave a remark there also, so I visit their lens
and do exactly the same, and so on and so on, until gradually the
momentum builds, and it builds until eventually your own Squidoo lens
becomes swamped by visitors daily. This benefits the lens in many ways,
not least the fact that they are seeing whatever it may be you are
promoting etc on your lens and possibly visit your main website or buy
from you.
This activity will also elevate your lens through the internal rankings as
well as search engine awareness.
I set myself a goal of visiting three new lenses every day and leaving a
short encouraging comment/blurb as well as rating and adding to favs,
plus I add myself to their fan club.
Every single person that you will see there has been visited by myself,
some before they visit my site and some after but there are also many,
many more that are not there, but my link is on their lens for their
visitors to see and click on in order to visit my own.
It is just such a powerful, but simple process that so many Lensmasters
seem to overlook, or maybe they create their lens and don't really want
visitors, I don't know, but it is certainly a very effective method for
gaining additional visitors to a lens.

It actually reminds me of the overall system that I predominantly offer
people on my own website, except that there the results can be mind
boggling. Still 100% free, but certainly mind boggling.
