Thumbs down Beware of DataProcessors.org

Beware of DataProcessors.org. I signed up with this company on 1/24/08 after checking everywhere to see if there had been any complaints against them. Couldn't find any and since I could join for free, I thought I'd give it a try.

What you do is receive assignments on a daily basis to review websites and get paid to make sure everything is working and give your opinion.

Right away I got assignments and after doing several and being able to contact support with no problems, I upgraded to a Gold member where I was to earn $10 for every assignment completed.

Contacted them about when my check was to be sent and was told on April 2, 2008 it would be mailed.

While it's now April 19th and I still haven't received a check. Sent several emails before I got a response and was told I would be paid. Still waiting.

I had a friend sign up to see what would happen and gee whiz, she was getting assignments right off the bat. Me, I haven't gotten another one since my check was to have been sent!

AVOID like the plague, all your doing is making money for someone else!

Hi,

I keep seeing a lot of these ads in my mailbox.

A lot of these companies advertise heavily, get
members and then close down when they've
earned the money they want.

Thanks for posting your experience with them!

NOPE and no response to any emails, so we can assume this is A SCAM!

I'd like to hear from anyone else who recently signed up for this, are they getting assignments and have they been paid?

Be interesting to find out if they're still continuing this.

I have emailed one of the women in charge of this again and, unless she's a complete idiot, she probably at this point understand I'll only wait what I consider a reasonable amount of time to get paid then start legal action.

The one thing I found online that concerns me is that they were doing something else where you had to pay to work with them. I think the DP part of their business has only been around since maybe the beginning of the year so its not unreasonable that it took them time to get the people that need to pay them, to pay them and until recently they haven't been solvent. I don't know. I do know this one woman who offered to send out an email to certain people when she gets paid should have been paid by now and I haven't heard from her. Well the thing I've learned about this type of thing is you can always take legal action. Its just a matter of how. I mean, would you do it in your court or have to do it in their state. But that's pretty easy to figure out.

One thing is its easy to find complaints about these things on the net but its hard to find any retractions or anyone saying they got paid.

I had really hoped these ladies were for real. I suppose if they were and if anyone actually got paid, that would not be posted on the web. People would want to keep it that to themselves. Well, if I don't get anything by the end of the month, I will start legal proceedings which I think has never been done before. I"m debating giving them some warning but have not decided just yet. I was thinking about a class action suit but don't want to get into anything that is going to cost me more than I made with them.

I too have been scammed by this site. I seen someone said that they had to mail in a tax form. What address did this go to???? I can't find any info on this company. Don't know how to file any charges against a web address.
Any help would be appriciated.

For any comoany to pay a person they need people to help brin g in the cash.
its from a portion of the cash earned by the " members" or employee" that is a commision.

if those task that was given indeed generate revenue for the company, then rightfully, the money should be paid to the members.

But this concept are usually applicable off-line.

If it sound too good to be true. Its probably not.

By the way, what are the asignment given to members whom signup ?

Many thanks for the information.

As it will certainly help others from being scammed too.

Regards
